 Re: OTL Jukebox
Just got back from Sonisphere
What an awesome festival. Really nice vibe to it. About 60k people, lots of family's, lots of rock, great atmosphere.
Highlights- Black Spiders blew everyone away in the tent Tim Minchin was funny Skunk Anansie were amazing and I got their autograph, definitely getting tickets for them in November. Alice Cooper was impressive Rammstein was incredible. They were more of a theatre than a music performance. Remarkable pyrotechnics. Anthrax were good, as were Alice in Chains Iron Maiden were brilliant, despite not playing The Trooper or Run to the Hills.
I think I enjoyed Skunk Anansie the most, very nostalgic and absolutely rocked the crown. Skin crowd-surfred whilst singing perfectly.
Lowlights- Motley Crue were woeful, plus I watched a group of 20+ year old guys spend 2 hours putting make-up and fashion accessories to go see them. Spent far too much money.
Definitely going again!

Teenage Fanclub - Baby Lee
Quite like the new one from the Manic Street Preachers as well, who tend to be one of those bands where I either completely dig their songs or completely hate them, without much middle ground.
