 Re: OTL Jukebox
I've gone off of that 10/10 song by Paolo Nutini since I noticed that DFS had started to use it in their adverts. Not sure about a white Glaswegian bloke singing reggae anyway. He has done a couple of other songs recently that I've liked though. That song "Candy" in particular.
Anyway, among my recent listening pleasures:
Corinne Bailey Rae - The Sea Massive Attack & Guy Garvey - Flat Of The Blade Mumford & Sons - The Cave Psychedelic Furs - Pretty In Pink U2 - The Unforgettable Fire Echo & The Bunnymen - The Killing Moon

There's a good band from a few years back. Mad Season was a good album, but particularly liked 3am from the album that preceded it. Are they still together?

 Re: OTL Jukebox
Has anyone got Mumford & Sons's album? Although I thought Little Lion Man was s**t, I've really liked the last 2 singles cuts that have been released, so I wondered if their album was worth getting/downloading.

I cant work out if i really like them or if they annoy me. Seems a band that are very mood dependant music. Havent got album no.

 Re: OTL Jukebox
Courteneers - Falcon Mumford & Sons - Sigh No More
Enjoying both of these albums at the moment. As well as their singles, there's some other good songs on the Mumford & Sons album. They tend to stick to their template of folk/rock crossover. Courteneers is a more edgy, indie sound, influenced by the likes of the Stone Roses, Elbow and Morrissey.
Also bought Corinne Bailey Rae's new album The Sea and Massive Attack's new one Heligoland the other day but haven't listened to them yet. I like the collaboration that they have done with Guy Garvey from Elbow on the track 'Flat Of The Blade' though.

Yeah, they're still together and working on their fourth album. They were always a band that heard about but didn't pay any attention to. Always recommended to me because I like Train. A friend digs them and made me listen. Bright Lights and If You're Gone immediately struck me - as did 3am and Unwell. Definitely going to familiarise myself with them some more.

Not got the album yet, but think I shall be acquiring it at some point. Can't stop listening to The Cave atm.

In theory I do as well, but nowadays I only ever physically buy an album if it is a band I really like and who I have all their previous albums of. I just find it a waste of time buying a CD as I get it home, burn it to the computer and then never use it again. Depends how you listen to your music but I either do it through my computer or iPod in the car. Was just talking about this the other day, how you never see stereos or Hi-Fi systems being advertised anymore or even in shops that much aside from specialist retailers. If you had said to me 10 years ago that in a decade I'd listen to all my music on a computer I'd have laughed you off.

 Re: OTL Jukebox
Music has gone really s**t lately, all that is ok is POP. Whats happening? There is just nothing coming out of any interest. Im spending all my money on buying old stuff to deputise this drought.
