Re: What was the last thing you purchased?
I own (well I did) a Canon IXUS 70 camera, but unfortunately tonight it broke. I had a 3 year warranty with it, which was due to expire soon so exchanged it for the IXUS 990 which is pretty f**king awesome. Had to pay the £30 difference though. Bothered, much? This thing generally retails at £200-300 in most places. I paid £120 for my original camera and £30 for the warranty I think. Love it!
It's the nuts in terms of compact cameras. Would have liked something with a bigger zoom but x5 is plenty for me. The quality at that distance is unreal.

Re: What was the last thing you purchased?
£80 so that at half 6 next Tuesday I'll be doing this...
- Get changed in the home changing rooms at St James' Park. - Spend 15 minutes doing warm-ups on the hallowed turf. - Go back to the changing room for 5 minutes for last minute team talks. - Ref knocks on changing room doors, checks players' studs and down the players' tunnel to the pitch life in a real match. - Play a 30 minutes each-way match on the pitch - After-match meal in Shearer's Bar.
Can't. F*cking. Wait.

Re: What was the last thing you purchased?
Your No 1 objective has to be to score - but not for the glory of scoring at St J's, purely for the fact that it will allow you the chance to kick the crap out of the advertising hoarding OR put your shirt on the end of the corner flag and wave it about!
