Re: Eagle's 2009/10 ongoing betting thread
Three for this weekend...
Man Utd to beat Everton (£56.08 at 5/6) A tough game for United but I expect them to win here. Their record against Everton is good and United should control a Fellaini-less midfield. Everton have only won this fixture once since 1995, with 24 of the other 30 games between the two sides ending in a United win.
Portsmouth v Stoke to have Under 2.5 goals (£56.08 at 4/6) Pompey have a ton of problems, Stoke aren't so good away from home.
Man City v Liverpool to have Over 2.5 goals (£56.08 at 23/20) I'd have taken anything better than Evens for this. City can score for fun on their day at home. Liverpool have conceded in 15 league games this season, and the majority of those (around two thirds) have been over 2.5 goal games - including the 2-2 draw with City at Anfield.

Re: Eagle's 2009/10 ongoing betting thread
Nightmare week last week leaving us with a balance of £392.62 going into this weekend...
Birmingham to beat Wigan (£39.26 at Evens)
Just one win from the last 12 for Wigan and although Birmingham's good run of form has stuttered in recent games, they've been playing some decent stuff still without getting results.
Burnley to beat Portsmouth (£39.26 at 23/20)
Administration, points deducted, and it's not going to get any better for Pompey. A low-scoring game I reckon, but a home win.
Fulham to beat Sunderland (£39.26 at 13/5)
No wins in 13 for Sunderland against a Fulham side who are in good form and will be upbeat. No danger of a European hangover here, I don't think, and 13/5 looks a tasty price.

Re: Eagle's 2009/10 ongoing betting thread
Fulham are likely to be without Bobby Zamora on Sunday as he went off with an Achilles injury last night and by the end, Fulham were tiring noticeably and hanging on. Fulham have a long journey back from the Ukraine and have not been great on the road this season.
Although Sunderland have been on a dismal run, they haven't lost many matches at the Stadium of Light and they generally score at home and given that they come into the match far fresher than Fulham, I think they stand a good chance of ending their bad sequence of results on Sunday.

Re: Eagle's 2009/10 ongoing betting thread
I think I've wrote about it on here before but, but their last home win was last November (Arsenal). Before that, their last win was in October v Liverpool. Since the Arsenal game, they've kept one clean sheet (0-0 at home to Stoke).
As for scoring at home, Sunderland have scored 3 goals in 5 league games at home since that 1-0 win over Arsenal.
Fair enough, Fulham's away form hasn't been great, but I really think at the price that an away win is good value.
